To keep pace with North Allegheny’s high academic standards and student-focused mission, the District upgraded and expanded three of its schools. Construction over two summers was phased to minimize disruptions and implement key program elements in the first year.
New theatrical sound and lighting systems, improve acoustics, and universal accessibility, enhance the Auditorium. Family and consumer science classrooms were re-envisioned. New library furniture creates collaborative student spaces.
The colorful finishes and new lighting in lobbies and corridors create a stimulating and engaging experience for students and faculty. Improved energy efficiency features include: upgrades to the heating and cooling systems; water-efficient plumbing fixtures; and high efficiency lighting systems. Accessibility was improved in throughout the facility.
