An improved branding approach, enhanced customer experience, and streamlined workflow were all key objectives to the 45,200 sf renovation and addition of the Jim Shorkey North Huntingdon CDJR dealership. WTW Architects collaborated with Jim Shorkey Auto Group key personnel at the onset of preliminary design to ensure the renovation and addition would successfully reflect their vision.
Vehicle service lanes were expanded to support increased customer volume and expedite the servicing process. An open and transparent showroom allows for staff to efficiently interact with customers and features elements such as the New Vehicle Delivery space where customers can celebrate and pick up their newly purchased vehicles. A renovated lounge is equipped with a tech bar, café, and upgraded amenities offer enhanced comfort and convenience to customers.
Reconfiguration of landscaping and site features were implemented to improve customer circulation around the site, and to better accommodate site logistics. Additionally, EV charging stations were strategically located to support CDJR’s ongoing conversion to hybrid and electric vehicles.
