The existing circulation desk was replaced with a smaller but more efficient unit. A secondary circulation desk was added at the new First Floor area. The stacks were reoriented to maximize views of the lake to the north. Reading areas were better integrated with the stacks and provided with data outlets.

Finish work included replacement of carpet, new acoustic ceilings, and repainting of all walls. Suspended direct/indirect light fixtures and special area lighting and decorative lighting replaced outdated existing lighting.
