Outpatient access to the Butler Pennsylvania VA Medical Center campus was greatly enhanced by the creation of the new Clinical Services Addition, which was Phase 1 of the implementation of an earlier WTW/Ellerbe Becket Master Plan.

morePhase 2 of the Master Plan involved the relocation of the central pharmacy for outpatient and in-patient services, completion of the radiology department started in Phase 1, and the relocation of the out-patient and in-patient laboratories to newly-renovated space. The challenge was to keep all departments operational during the renovation of the new spaces.
