Peavine Hall, University of Nevada, Reno
Following the highly successful completion of Nevada Hall totaling 320 beds, WTW Architects/Collaborative Design Studio was re-engaged to implement additional new housing at the University of Nevada, Reno.
Reno, NV
LEED Gold
This first phase, a mid-rise building for 400 beds, includes both shared and single bed configurations. The Ground Floor consists of community spaces such as a flexible multi-purpose room, laundry and recreation areas. Social and study areas will be located on all upper floors.
In keeping with the campus context, patterned brick and cast stone facades, vertical windows and pitched roofs are incorporated into a contemporary composition around study lounges common to each floor. New courtyards, plazas and recreational areas will link the residential community with the campus core. This project achieved LEED Gold.
