Pattee Library Center for Immersive Experiences, The Pennsylvania State University

The Center for Immersive Experiences (CIE) includes an area where several groups or individuals can work with virtual reality technology. Flexible partitions, furniture, and technology have been provided so the space can be rearranged to accommodate newer devices as they are developed.

The central feature of CIE is an Immersive Laboratory Theater. The space can be opened up for large audience viewing and technology demonstrations, or it can be blacked out with surrounding curtains for an intimate and immersive viewing experience.
