The goal of Lake Erie College was to design and construct a facility that serves as a social and recreational complex for all students; houses the “Storm” varsity teams; and can be used by the community as well as summer youth sports programs.

The new 48,000-square-foot complex features an open active design and includes a new gymnasium with spectator seating for 600 and a multipurpose activity gymnasium, surrounded by an elevated track, for five-a-side soccer, volleyball, and basketball.
A fitness center with cardiovascular, free-weight, and selectorize areas is located on an upper floor overlooking the outdoor playing fields.
