Campus Life Analysis and Feasibility Study, The University of Vermont
The University of Vermont (UVM) engaged WTW Architects to conduct an in-depth study of campus life programmatic and facility issues at their institution. Working with students, faculty, staff, and members of the Board of Trustees, WTW and our consultant, Brailsford and Dunlavey (B&D), provided online surveys, facility/program recommendations, and a financial analysis of proposed operations.
The Board of Trustees concurred with the findings of this study, and authorized for design services to begin for a 200,000-square-foot University Commons project. Subsequently, WTW was awarded the project as the result of a design competition among other notable design firms. The new University Commons with associated parking facilities opened in October of 2007.
