Bayer Building #16, Corporate Offices
The first building in a new neighborhood of Bayer’s Pittsburgh Campus provided the opportunity to highlight many of the company’s high performance coatings and insulation products with a sophisticated corporate image. This highly flexible building is oriented to capitalize on distant views and enhance solar control while maximizing daylighting.
The three-story lobby atrium features inviting stairs to enhance interaction between the diverse groups of employees working in the building. The interior layout employs a combination of demountable partitions for private offices and open plan systems furniture, as well as a cellular floor deck that allows easy access to wiring and data, for enhanced flexibility.
